Who We Are:
One ending became a new beginning in the 2023-2024 school year for Clairmont Presbyterian Kindergarten. Clairmont Presbyterian Kindergarten began in 1956 with a heart for all children in the community regardless of race or creed. The initial school was created to provide care for children of families within the church and it grew to reaching approximately 3,500 children in the community since 1956. The school was led by Barbara Powers for 40 years supported be many excellent teachers.
In the 2023/2024 year Barbara Powers answered the call to retirement. Clairmont Presybyterian Kindergarten opened their doors to Bridgepoint Church at Toco Hills to carry the baton of the school. Bridgepoint Church at Toco Hills is honored to be able to continue the legacy of the Clairmont Presbyterian School and commits to holding to the same excellent standards of care and learning for children in our community. We are thankful to the staff of the Clairmont Kindergarten remaining at the Bridgepoint Preschool to help us maintain the highest standards of education in the years to come.

Our Purpose and Philosophy
The Bridgepoint Preschool is a self supporting, non-profit school, responsible to the Bridgepoint Church at Toco Hills. Its purpose is to provide the best conditions possible to promote each child's mental, emotonal, physical and spiritual growth; to strengthen each child's capacity to establish healthy and meaningful relationships with children their own age; to find joy and satisfaction in creative work; to respect themselves and others; to know God through Jesus, His Church and His world. Our Commitment:
We commit to surrounding children with the reality of Christian Fellowship. Our teachers commit to helping each child in our care to come to know themselves as unique and important, develop trustful and responsible relationships with others, and to come to know God as the Father of all people. We commit to loving each child and providing them with an "extended family" experience.
