She enjoys spending time with her  family, snuggling with her dogs, running, attending a weekly bible study, walking with friends, cooking, traveling, and climbing Stone Mountain.
"I am passionate about teaching young children. Watching God at work as they grow and learn is an honor and a privilege. At the young age of two, we strive to not only introduce the basics (numbers, colors, letters, shapes, etc.), but to help the child in their ability to successfully navigate social interactions.   My hope in this class is for the child to feel valued and accepted, to develop a love for school and learning, and to cultivate an inquisitive mind. My ultimate goal is to show and share the love of Jesus with them every day."

3 Year Assistant
Meg loves teaching preschool.  Her background is as a high school chemistry teacher with a masters in chemistry from Georgia Tech and a masters in education from Georgia State.   She sometimes doesn't see much of a difference between teenagers and 3 year olds! A native of Pittsburgh, PA (go Steelers!) she's an alum of Georgia Tech and lives in Decatur with her husband and three kids.    When she's not shuttling them around town, she enjoys playing the piano, singing, and planning vacations for her family.

"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts."  Colossians 3:16

3 Year Assistant
Lynne loves the curiosity and playfulness of the children in the three-year-old class! It’s such a joy to
interact with them and to help them navigate their relationships with each other. This is Lynne’s first
year as one of the three-year-old assistant teachers, after assisting in kindergarten for eight years and
teaching preschool music.
After receiving her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from the University of Georgia (Go
Dawgs!), Lynne worked as a technical writer and trainer before deciding to stay home with her two
children. Now that her son and daughter have left the nest, she enjoys spending time with her husband
and their adult children, traveling, reading, and listening to music (especially her favorite guitar player –
her husband!). And of course, Lynne is happy to be part of the supportive and nurturing community at
Bridgepoint.
