Janice Todd- 4 Year Lead Teacher
Why do I teach 4 year olds? I have always loved 4-year-olds! They are on the cusp of independence, able to communicate well and so curious about their surroundings.
Using the GA State Standards as a landing pad, I will spend our days in class focusing on letter recognition, encouraging a love of books, number sense, understanding how to get along with other people, and fostering curiosity about nature and our world. I use lots of creativity to present math and literacy topics daily by using lots of games and movement.
We do an end-of-the year assessment to check for kindergarten readiness to ensure your child is prepared for his or her next big step in their education.

Sarah Trappe: 4 Year Assistant Sarah is a North Carolina native who has called Atlanta home for 20 years now! Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Wake Forest University and then eventually went on to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Georgia State. She started working with kids as a 6 year old mother's helper and taught middle school special education in New Orleans. Sarah subbed last year and loved the energy at Bridgepoint. In her very limited spare time, Sarah loves drinking coffee outside, taking long walks, baking and reading. But usually, she can be found cheering on her 4 kids at various events or volunteering in their classrooms. Her children are in 6th grade, 4th grade, 2nd grade and kindergarten (here at Bridgepoint).
